I'm taking the engine (3.0 TDi BKN with tiptronic gearbox) out this weekend to replace the timing chains, as replacing the right hand tensioner unfortunately didn't solve it for me. I've been on the workshop-manuals.com website and that describes doing the engine, gearbox and subframe as one, however I assume that's derived from Audi's manuals
